5G Pre-Sales Specialist
Roles & Responsibilities
5G / RF Pre-Sales & Solutions Architecture
- Lead technical pre-sales engagements across G2G, G2B, B2B and D2B client interactions.
- Architect end-to-end Digital Private Network (DPN) solutions covering RAN, Transmission, and Core verticals.
- Develop techno-commercial solution documents tailored to verticals including Mining, Ports, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Campus, and Multi-Tenant environments.
- Conduct RF link planning, dimensioning, and network design for 5G/4G/ORAN deployments.
- Lead product evaluation, technical and functional compliance assessments, and commercial analysis for GTM positioning.
Fiber Grid & Data Centre
- Support bids and proposal activities for large-scale fiber grid network infrastructure projects (active and passive).
- Contribute to solution documentation for wireline and data centre verticals.
- Perform BoQ design and infrastructure dimensioning for fiber and DC projects.
Partner & Product Management
- Manage OEM and ODM partnerships across India, Vietnam and Taiwan markets for 5G and related technology products.
- Drive product portfolio management — including technical data sheets, sales collaterals, and market positioning catalogues.
- Coordinate with EMS/manufacturing partners and manage product qualification and compliance workflows.
Bids, Proposals & Market Intelligence
- Identify and analyze prospective addressable markets; track evolving customer expectations for opportunity development.
- Prepare presentation materials and solution proposals for CXO-level stakeholders and government clients.
Program & Stakeholder Management
- Lead strategic technology partnerships and new product introduction programs.
- Represent QuadGen at national and international industry conferences (IMC, WAMS, CPSU, etc.).
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with internal teams (Engineering, Sales, Commercial, Legal).
Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background
- E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Master’s degree (M.Tech / MBA-Tech) is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on understanding of 5G SA/NSA architecture, ORAN, gNodeB/eNodeB, and 3GPP standards.
- Familiarity with RF planning tools, link budgeting, coverage and capacity dimensioning.
- Knowledge of SDN/NFV, CNF/VNF-based core networks (Open5GS or equivalent).
- Exposure to fiber network infrastructure (active and passive components), DOCSIS, or Data Centre architecture is advantageous.
- Proficiency in creating technical documentation — solution proposals, BoQ designs, compliance matrices.
Commercial & Soft Skills
- Strong techno-commercial acumen — ability to stitch technical solutions to business needs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for CXO, government, and partner interactions.
- Experience managing international OEM/ODM partnerships and technology vendor negotiations.
- Ability to lead and coordinate bids for large-scale government and enterprise infrastructure projects.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple technology domains simultaneously.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in a telecom solutions, pre-sales, or product management role within a wireless/ICT company.
- Exposure to Private 5G / CBRS / enterprise wireless network deployments.
- Experience with government bid processes (GeM, CPSU, state government tenders).
- International travel and partner engagement experience (Asia-Pacific / European markets).
Additional Qualification
- Proficient in English (mandatory). Knowledge of additional Indian languages is an advantage.
Working Condition
9 Hrs. of Shift timings which includes Nightshifts and odd shifts.
Should be flexible & ready to work on Indian/US holidays including weekends based on the Project requirement.
